- Introduction
- Lyndsay Sayers is a registered massage therapist who treats using an osteopathic approach. She graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2001, and is presently writing her thesis to complete her post-graduate studies with the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Lyndsay is very passionate about her work and has a strong interest in bringing the health out in people.
Lyndsay enjoys her general practice treating patients from all ages and stages in life. She has seen positive results working with specific problems such as fatigue, stress, neck and shoulder pain, headaches, digestive problems, cranial nerve dysfunction, chronic joint pain, musculoskeletal disorders, and posture misalignment. Promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, Lyndsay enjoys keeping patients mobile by treating back, hip, knee and ankle/foot problems, and with maintenance tune-ups for general life or during pregnancy.
Hailing from a strong sports therapy background, Lyndsay has also achieved success treating triathletes, marathon runners, mountain and road bike racers, sports fishermen, skiers, snowboarders, outrigger racers, and equestrian riders.
Osteopathy addresses all systems in the body; therefore, the results are limitless concerning the conditions it can help. Tensions or stress prevent the body from functioning at its best, causing us to feel symptoms such as aches, pains, and imbalances in our bodies. Osteopathic techniques help to remove these stresses and bring the body into a more harmonious state and optimal balance.
Patients may book with Lyndsay for massage therapy or osteopathic appointments.
In her free time, Lyndsay enjoys swimming, biking, running, swing dancing, and any other excuse to spend time outside.
