- Born in Vancouver and educated in Nova Scotia and Ireland, Sarah moved to England to obtain her undergraduate degree from the University of Manchester in 2006. At university she was captain of the basketball team, and decided subsequently to specialise in sports rehabilitation. Having completed a placement at Vancouver General Hospital, she made the decision to return to Vancouver, initially working in trauma care. Sarah has worked for the University of British Columbia athletics since 2006 in a wide range of sports such as basketball, volleyball, football and hockey. She is currently head physiotherapist for the UBC rugby team. She is pursuing her diploma in sports physiotherapy. Sarah started working for Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Centre in March 2008 and made a permanent move to the John Owen Pavilion in September 2008.

- When not working, you can find Sarah playing soccer, skiing or running the numerous trails surrounding UBC.
