- Introduction
- Thomas graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999.
He worked in sports medicine clinic in Ottawa before moving to Vancouver in 2001. He worked with the UBC men’s volleyball team as a coach and physiotherapist (2001 – 2006). Thomas joined Allan McGavin Sports Medicine Centre in 2002.
Thomas has worked with high performance athletes in volleyball, basketball, football and is working towards his sports diploma.
- Specialization
- Special interests in physiotherapy include neutralizing repetitive, chronic overload injuries through specific and global muscular activation processes. With more focus on the developmental athletes and appropriately sequenced movements.
